Welcome to Blue Darner Editing!
I’m Sandi Gruberg, a creative and compassionate editor, author, and writing instructor with over 20 years of experience helping diverse writers discover, develop, and share their stories.
My specialties include developmental editing, story coaching, copy editing, and accessibility‑informed writing.
I am an award-winning published author in fiction and non-fiction, with an MFA in Creative Writing and a solid foundation in mechanics, style, voice, structure, and storytelling craft.
I am a certified copyeditor with a Specialization in Developmental Editing from the University of Washington.
When I’m not reading, editing, or conjuring up my own magical stories, I’m wandering in the beautiful PNW forests, sculpting a lump of clay, capturing the magic of the natural world, or daydreaming over a blank piece of paper with a pencil in one hand and a paint brush in the other.
