Story Coaching
Collaborative, step-by-step, development guidance to help you get the ideas out of your head and into a compelling story.
$50 per hour (all rates in U.S. Dollars)
Copy Editing
A careful, line-by-line review of your manuscript to polish up your word choice, spelling, grammar, tone, style, formatting, and punctuation.
Short works less than 35,000 words: $.015 per word
35,000 - 50,000 words: $550 flat fee
Over 50,000 words : $550 for first 50k, plus $.015 per each additional word
Developmental Editing
A big-picture assessment of what’s working in your story and what can be improved. Includes specific marginal comments, recommendations, and occasional line edits to guide your revisions. The developmental edit culminates in a multi-page comprehensive Editorial Note with suggestions for how to make your story shine.
$.03 (3 cents) per word
Query Letters
Your story shines, and you’re ready to submit it to a literary agent or publishing house. A query letter is the highlight of your submission package, and we can help you present your book at its absolute best.
$100 flat fee to evaluate and revise existing query letters
$50 per hour coaching and development fee for new query letters
